From one shore to the other...

An enlightened jack-of-all-trades, Laurca, a self-taught painter, acts and reacts with passion, anger and generosity.

Dali's mistral blew into Sainte Maxime in her early years, in this south where color springs from light, Laurca was bathed in this family inspiration and has always drawn and painted.

Then, the wind of the New York underground wave inspired her to leave, discover and travel.

Basquiat's colors and shapes inspired her, and she observed her brother's talent. Far from being an automatic painter, her pencils and brushes concretized her dreamlike, lunar world.

From one shore to the other

Without touching land...
